Splurges Worth Saving For!

Well hello there!

Considering I have a very small budget, I have extremely expensive taste. I try and make it work by finding cheaper dupes of my favourite items, but sometimes there's things worth saving up for. This is basically a wishlist that I have been drooling over, but I will definitely be saving parts of my paychecks to purchase them.

At the top of the list is something not many people would consider it worth saving for but I do. Mainly because it has part of my name on it, but also because I just love the brand's iconic images it chooses. Kenzo is extremely expensive and considering I could probably go buy a shirt with the same designs at Forever 21 for $20, it's the name that's calling to me. I couldn't choose just one either so there's 3 of them, but I'd probably purchase the black sweater first. (prices are converted from Euros to CAD using Google)
Kenzo Eye Sweatshirt, $296.41
 Kenzo Tiger T-Shirt, $129.20

I can never choose just one item from a designer, especially because this next one has to do with purses. Is it even possible to just be in love with one bag at a time? No. At least not for me anyway. Phillip Lim is a considerably new trendy yet classic designer, but the line is actually called 3.1 Phillip Lim. If you've never seen a celebrity carrying his bags or wearing his clothes, I wonder if you've been living under a rock. Personally, I believe that owning a 3.1 Phillip Lim bag is better than owning a Chanel bag just because it doesn't need the branding upfront and center to prove it's worth. I also think a nice classic leather backpack is worth owning. These next three items showcase exactly what I mean.

3.1 Phillip Lim Polly Double Compartment Crossbody, On Sale for $411.00

Now here is one of the absolute classics I will save up for until I am dead. The one, the only, Christian Louboutin! Yet again, there's not going to be just one because a girl can never have too many red soles in her closet. I'm keeping this little intro nice and short and I'm going to let the shoes do the talking.
 Christian Louboutin Bianca Spikes 140mm, $ 1,295.00
Christian Louboutin Daffodile 160 mm, $1075.00
 Christian Louboutin Grorolli 120mm, $ 895.00
 Christian Louboutin Highness 160mm, $ 1,075.00
 Christian Louboutin Highness 160mm, $ 1,075.00
 Christian Louboutin Pigalle Spikes 120mm, $ 1,295.00
 Christian Louboutin Rolando 120mm, $ 795.00

Who doesn't need all of these? Not me, that's for sure. The shoes alone cost more than my entire OSAP repayment. Oops! All of it together is double what I would be willing to pay for a wedding dress. Oh boy. I better find me a good job to be able to afford all of this!

What's on your list?
