Tired Of Coachella!

Well hello there!

As you know, Coachella was this past weekend and it's also this upcoming weekend. If you don't know what Coachella is, where what how who ashdjkhsjdkskhd. But I will sum it up: one big festival in a Californian dessert where celebrities get paid thousands of dollars to attend and where people follow a bohemian dress code.

Apparently it has something to do with music but you would never know because the music aspect is never covered in the media. I swear the only reason media is present is to take pictures of people dressed in ridiculous outfits that they wouldn't wear anywhere else.

Don't get me wrong, I think festivals are a great way to get a bunch of artists together in one venue when they normally wouldn't. I also think it's a different way to experience a "concert" because they're typically not just for one night, it's normally spread out over a weekend. Keep in mind, normal people pay at least $375 to attend the weekend.

But the thing about Coachella is that it hasn't been about the music. Coachella is literally one big runway for celebrities and non-celebrities to dress in the shortest shorts possible while wearing crop tops and flowers in their hair.

That is why I am tired of it. I am tired of people playing into this festival with actually really good music and making it all about fashion. I love fashion just as much as the next person, but please stop taking something about music and twisting it around.

For the sake of those that have no idea what I am talking about, I will so kindly put some pictures of the attendee's outfits I am referring to.

Now for some of the celebrities that attend. Mind you, these people actually get paid to go to this event, and not just a wristband amount. They get about $20,000 to attend Coachella and promote a company. They could be wearing the brand's clothes or simply just being photographed at their "tents."

Their outfits tend to be a little more outrageous than the normal festival-goer's. Proof:

I love the Jenner sisters but please tell me what went through their minds this weekend...

And an oh so bohemian Paris Hilton still trying to prove she's relevant.

I almost forgot the most important parts of Coachella! The bindis and headdresses! Because, remember, bindis and headdresses are the ultimate bohemian accessories.

The flower crowns that I've seen this past weekend makes me wish I was blind. I just don't know if I can deal with another weekend of looking at celebrities post selfies of their ridiculous looking selves on Instagram.

Well, I don't know how much more I can write about something that irritates me to no end so I'm going to leave you wishing you had never heard of Coachella.

Have a good Thursday and prepare yourself for the second week of this "festival"!
