Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara Review!

Well hello there!

Some of you may have heard about Younique by now considering it's starting to take over (what seems like) the world. Essentially Younique is this new brand of makeup that's sold through representatives (they use the word "presenters"). You can host online and in person parties and even become a presenter yourself. Their most talked about product is the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes which is a mascara that promises to "improve the appearance of thickness and volume to your lashes while still looking completely natural." I was contacted by a representative, who happens to be a friend I went to kindergarten with, and asked to try and review the product here on Being MacKenzie!

I've wanted to try the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes mascara because it looks to give great results and it's just sweeping the nation by storm! When I was presented with his opportunity and since I haven't done a review in a while (and I've been stuck on topics to write about), I knew I had to take it up immediately!

When I first got the product I thought "wow this is a really cute case" because it comes in what looks like a case for glasses!

I was extremely surprised to find inside 2 tubes because I had never actually seen it before and it's not every day that you see a mascara that requires 2 tubes. The bigger tube is called the Transplanting Gel which is what I would consider the mascara part to it. The smaller tube is the Natural Fibers which scared me when I first opened it but it's the part that gives you all the benefits of the product.

In the little pamphlet it tells you how to do the entire process but basically you put a layer of the Transplanting Gel on first and then quickly apply the Natural Fibers before the gel has time to dry. In order for the fibers to seal you have to apply another coat of the gel to your lashes. It's recommended to do one eye at a time and I would definitely push this. I used a thin coat of the Transplanting Gel in case I wanted to build up and scrambled to find the Natural Fibers, so it's definitely easier to do one eye at a time unless you have a glam squad.

Upon applying the Natural Fibers I could immediately tell that this mascara would live up to it's promise. My lashes looked naturally longer but without looking fake which is something that's hard to come by! They also were curled naturally which a huge benefit to this mascara! Overall, I would recommend Younique's Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes. I probably would have never tried the mascara had my friend not asked me to do so just because I find it intimidating to contact representatives. Younique's mascara would definitely add some huge length for those with shorter lashes and it's extremely buildable for dramatic thickness!
