Music Monday: Thankful

Well hello there!

Here in Canada today is Thanksgiving and since I have the day off I figured I would spend a small bit of my day sharing something with you! I'm going to start out by saying that this year I am very thankful for my friends and family because they have been able to teach me so much and still continue to love me. I'm very thankful for the little things in life that make each day just a bit easier to get through. I am very thankful to be alive and happy.

If you have been following my blog since the beginning you might have read some of my since deleted posts from when I was really struggling with my depression. There have been a lot of times where I couldn't find much use in existing and began to hate myself for waking up. During these times I would spend so many hours just listening to music and completely losing myself in it. Music is that one thing I am extremely reliant on whether it's to comfort me in sadness, make me want to dance, or just something simply to be there. So today I am also thankful for music.

Which is why I'm going to share with you some of my absolute favourite songs to listen to. Some are melancholic, some are upbeat and some you just belt your heart out to while driving. Take a listen!

What songs would you add to or remove from this playlist?
