Lancôme's Énergie de Vie Liquid Care Review

Well hello there!

Lancome Energie de Vie Liquid Care

If you remember my Clinique 3 Step System review, you might remember that I take my skin care regimen very seriously. As someone who has dealt with figuring out ways to rid my skin of many problems while determining which ingredients my skin doesn't like, I don't test out new products. When I do, I have to research the product to absolute death to see what's in it, what it's intentions are - basically the products dating profile. This process takes so long that it's never worth the effort.

That is until I fell in love with an extra step in my daily routine. I'm the kinda person that is very casual with my skin care in the sense that I don't feel like I need all the extras. I want a cleanser, a toner and a moisturizer and be on my way. But I received a serum in one of my Topbox's and really enjoyed doing the extra step. So I set on my way to find something that wouldn't irritate my skin and address some of my skin's concerns.

This is when I found Lancôme's new Énergie De Vie range. Since I'm 22 with fairly elastic-y skin I didn't feel the need to get anything to minimize wrinkles. Yes I know I should probably get something to help prevent them but that's not my concern right at the moment. What is my concern tho is making my young skin look young. With pollution and general tiredness my skin has become very lacklustre. It doesn't glow, is very uneven and sometimes feels very dry.

The new Lancôme range targets all of that which is why I went with the Liquid Care. Before I get into what this product has done for me, let's just talk about this packaging. It looks so promising in the bottle that you immediately get excited about it. The beautiful green colour exudes youthfulness and it's just so sleek that you can't help but feel extra luxurious when applying it. When you do apply it, and use it for a while you can really start to see a difference in your skin. And not only see, but feel!

My skin feels super soft and moisturized, whether it be by rubbing my hands over my skin or from all the smiling I do. I feel no dryness, whatsoever. The one thing I've always been able to forego in my makeup is blush, simply because my cheeks have always been so red. This serum has toned them down enough that I it doesn't look like my blood is boiling inside of my body. It's also helped to reduce and lighten the appearance of scarring which is a major bonus! When it comes to adding life into my skin, I couldn't be any happier! My face looks so healthy and young, I have a hard time remembering what it looked like before!

All of these benefits are super great but there's one that just going to blow you out of the water. I know that sometimes it's hard to invest money into skincare when you're young because once you buy a product, you have to keep repurchasing. And sometimes the product is so little and you need so much to actually make it work, which completely empties out your pockets. But this jar has so much product in it, and you only need one pump each time! I've been using this every day, twice a day for a month and I haven't even gone thru 1/4 of the bottle!

If there is one product I could suggest to anyone, it would be the Lancôme Énergie de Vie Liquid Care. For $60CAD, and with Lancôme always having some sort of deal on, you should really invest your money into this. PSSST! I'm really looking forward to trying out other products from this range to keep my skin looking young and healthy!

Until next time...
